Oihane Valdezate Cabornero was born on April 10, 2000, in Trapagaran, Spain. She began her football journey in the youth system of Pauldarrak, where she honed her skills from 2010 to 2015. Her dedication and talent led her to join Athletic Club's youth setup, where she continued to develop her game before transitioning to senior football.
Club Career
Valdezate made her senior debut with Athletic Club on April 13, 2019, in a match against Albacete, contributing to a 1–0 victory. Over her time with Athletic Club, she made a significant impact, accumulating 114 appearances and scoring 6 goals from 2019 to 2023. In April 2020, she extended her contract with the club, solidifying her position within the team. After her contract expired in 2023, Valdezate signed a three-year deal with AS Roma, joining the reigning Serie A champions and marking a new chapter in her career.
