Aniek Nouwen is a Dutch professional footballer born on March 9, 1999, in Helmond, Netherlands. Growing up in Deurne, she began her football journey in the boys' team at SV Deurne, where she played for 11 years before transitioning to the women's game. At the age of 17, she joined PSV Eindhoven, marking the beginning of her professional career.
Club Career
Nouwen's professional club career took off at PSV Eindhoven, where she played from 2016 to 2021. During her time with the club, she made 101 appearances and scored 19 goals, establishing herself as a key player in the defense. She was instrumental in helping PSV reach the finals of the KNVB Women's Cup in both 2017 and 2018. In 2021, Nouwen made a significant move to Chelsea, where she contributed to the team's success, winning both the FA Women's Super League and the FA Cup.
