She began her football journey at a young age, joining the Colorado Rush youth soccer club, where she honed her skills from 2005 to 2012. Club Career

Horan's professional career began with Paris Saint-Germain in 2012, where she made a significant impact, scoring 46 goals in 58 appearances over four seasons. Her outstanding performance earned her the NWSL MVP award in 2018. After a successful stint with the Thorns, Horan transferred to OL Lyonnes in 2022, initially on loan, before making the move permanent.
