Lindsey Horan was born on May 26, 1994, in Golden, Colorado, USA. She began her football journey at a young age, joining the Colorado Rush youth soccer club, where she honed her skills from 2005 to 2012. Horan's talent quickly became evident, leading her to represent the United States at various youth levels, including the U-17 and U-20 national teams.
Club Career
Horan's professional career began with Paris Saint-Germain in 2012, where she made a significant impact, scoring 46 goals in 58 appearances over four seasons. In 2016, she moved to the Portland Thorns, where she became a key player, contributing 25 goals and nine assists in 88 regular-season matches. Her outstanding performance earned her the NWSL MVP award in 2018. After a successful stint with the Thorns, Horan transferred to OL Lyonnes in 2022, initially on loan, before making the move permanent. As of the 2025-2026 season, she has made 25 appearances for Lyon, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
International Career
Horan has been a vital member of the United States women's national team since 2013, earning over 128 caps and scoring 40 goals.
