Early Life & Background
M. Cherubini, born on January 15, 2004, in Tivoli, Italy, begins his football journey at a young age. He starts playing with Guidonia before joining AS Roma's youth academy at the age of nine, where he develops his skills and nurtures his talent. Cherubini also spent a brief period at Lazio during the 2017-2018 season before returning to Roma, where he continues to excel in youth competitions.
Club Career
Cherubini signs his first professional contract with AS Roma on July 18, 2021. He quickly rises through the ranks, becoming the captain of the Roma Primavera team and leading them to significant victories, including the Supercoppa Primavera, Coppa Italia Primavera, and U17 Championship. He makes his senior debut for Roma as a substitute in a UEFA Europa League match against Sparta Prague on October 26, 2023. Following his debut season, Cherubini is loaned to Carrarese in July 2024, where he gains valuable experience and playing time. In August 2025, he moves on loan to Sampdoria in Serie B, seeking to further develop his skills in a competitive environment.
International Career
Cherubini has represented Italy at various youth levels, including a single appearance for the U18 team in 2021. He has since moved up to the U20 squad, where he has made three appearances, showcasing his potential on the international stage. Currently, he is part of the Italy U21 team and has accumulated six caps, indicating his growing importance in the national setup.
