Early Life & Background
Frøya Brennskag-Dorsin was born on January 7, 2007, in Trondheim, Norway. Growing up in a sporting family, she is the daughter of former Swedish international Mikael Dorsin. Initially, she played handball before transitioning to football, where she began her youth career with IL Trond before joining Rosenborg's academy.
Club Career
Dorsin made her senior debut with Rosenborg, where she showcased her potential as a forward. During her time with the club from 2022 to 2024, she made 28 league appearances and scored five goals. In 2024, she transferred to Paris Saint-Germain, where she has continued to develop her skills. Currently, she is on loan to AS Roma Women for the 2025-2026 season, where she has already made five appearances, contributing to her growing experience in a competitive league.
International Career
Frøya Dorsin has represented Norway at various youth levels, beginning with the U15 team, where she made four appearances. She has been particularly impactful with the U16 squad, scoring nine goals in eight matches. As of now, she has also played for the U19 and U23 teams, accumulating a total of 48 appearances and 14 goals across all youth categories, indicating her promising future on the international stage.
