Melchie Daëlle Dumornay, born on 17 August 2003 in Mirebalais, Haiti, showed an early affinity for football, playing in local youth teams. She began her youth career at AS Mirebalais before moving to AS Tigresses, where she honed her skills and developed her passion for the game. Her talent quickly became evident, leading her to represent Haiti at various youth levels.
Club Career
Dumornay's professional career began with AS Tigresses, where she made a significant impact between 2018 and 2021, scoring 37 goals in just 16 appearances. Following her success, she transferred to Reims, where she continued to excel, netting 18 goals in 23 appearances. In July 2023, Dumornay joined Olympique Lyonnais Féminin, one of the most prestigious clubs in women's football. Since then, she has made 24 appearances, scoring 9 goals and providing 4 assists, contributing to Lyon's success in securing multiple domestic titles and reaching the Women's Champions League final in 2024.
International Career
