Maria Luisa Grohs, born on June 13, 2001, in Münster, Germany, began her football journey at a young age. She initially played for local club 1. FC Gievenbeck before moving to VfL Bochum in 2016, where she honed her skills in the youth division and played in the B-Juniorinnen-Bundesliga. Grohs's dedication and talent set the foundation for her future in professional football.

Grohs joined Bayern Munich II in 2019, where she made 24 appearances without conceding any goals.
