Frederikke Skjødt Thøgersen was born on July 24, 1995, in Thisted, Denmark. Growing up in a football-loving environment, she began her youth career at Thisted FC, where she showcased her potential early on. This foundation set the stage for her development as a midfielder, leading her to pursue a professional career in women’s football.
Club Career
Thøgersen's professional journey began at Fortuna Hjørring, where she played from 2013 to 2019, making 69 appearances and scoring six goals. Her performances in Denmark caught the attention of international clubs, leading to her transfer to ACF Fiorentina in Italy, where she played from 2019 to 2021 and scored two goals in 36 appearances. After a brief stint at FC Rosengård, she joined Inter Milan in 2023, contributing to the team before moving to AS Roma in 2024. As of the current season (2025-2026), Thøgersen has made 26 appearances for Roma, scoring one goal and providing one assist, solidifying her role in the squad.
International Career
Frederikke Thøgersen has represented Denmark at various youth levels, including U16, U17, and U19, before making her senior debut in 2014. Since then, she has earned over 76 caps and scored three goals for the Danish national team.
